Policies for V Vacation Rentals

We are excited to welcome guests to our V Vacation Rental properties in and around downtown Murphys.  Most of our properties are all within walking distance to downtown unless otherwise noted on the individual units.

Terms and Conditions

If you have questions or need additional information about staying at one of our vacation rental properties in Northern California, please contact us.

Minimum Stay:

  • 2-night minimum stay requirements are in effect for weekend, during holidays and local events.

Reservations:

  • A deposit of 50% of the reservation cost is required upon booking, with the remainder due upon check-in.

Check-in/Check-out:

Check-in time is from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM; check-out time is 11:00 AM.

Want to arrive earlier than our 3pm check-in time? With 24 hours advanced notice, we can have your rental available for arrival as early as 1pm on the day of arrival. 

*Restrictions do apply for our The Oaks Poolside Retreat and The House on Main properties, please contact us directly to discuss this option.

Please call if arriving later than 7:00 PM, and will advise you of our late check-in procedure.

Keys, applicable keyless entry information and property address information is obtained at The Victoria Inn Lobby for our rental properties.

Cleaning Fee – Housekeeping:

There is a one-time cleaning fee to all “V” Vacation Rental property reservations. This cleaning fee will vary depending on the size of the rental property and will cover the cost of cleaning the rental upon departure. We continue to be committed to adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. We will not enter the vacation rental property during your stay. We will provide you with additional or fresh linens or amenities, upon request, please let us know and we will happily provide them.

Breakfast:

The vacation rental properties have exceptional kitchen facilities that are fully stocked for you. Including a drip coffee maker with coffee, creamers and sugars available in all our vacation rental properties.  As well as there are many local restaurants within walking distance that offer wonderful dining options.

Cancellations:

Prior to 72 hours of your arrival date; cancellations will be accepted. We provide two options; your deposit amount is refunded to the credit card on file, minus a $50 cancellation fee OR a gift certificate for the full amount on deposit will be sent via email, and can be applied to a future reservation. This optional cancellation Gift Certificate will expire 1-year from the date of issuance.

All cancellations less than 72 hours will result in the forfeiture of the full amount on deposit unless the room can be rebooked.

Additional Persons:

If there are additional persons over the base occupancy, 10 years of age or older staying at the property, there is a $25 fee per person.

Quiet Time:

10:00 PM to 8:00 AM – We ask that you be respectful of our neighbors and community, they are nice people just like you.

Pets:

 We have Pet Friendly off site vacation rental properties available at Crestview Pond Cottage and The Oaks Poolside Retreat.  A completed and signed Pet Policy form is required and a $40.00 per stay Pet Fee is applied.  Pets are NOT allowed in any of our other rentals.  NO EXCEPTIONS. 

If it is determined that you have brought a dog(s) into any of our other rooms or vacation rental properties either on or off site, a fee of $300.00 for professional cleaning of the room or property will be charged to your credit card on file.

Service Animals

Pets are not allowed with the exception of Crestview Pond Estate Cottage and The Oaks Poolside Retreat properties under our “Pet Policy” noted above.

If you have a pet that is not a service animal, we respectfully request that you honor the good work of service animals by not claiming that you pet is a service animal.

 Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

  • A service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability.
    • “Companion” and “Comfort” dogs are not “service animals” protected by the ADA.
    • We may ask you (1) whether the dog is a service dog required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task the dog has been trained to perform

Smoking:

As a smoke-free environment, smoking is NOT ALLOWED at any of the rentals.  This includes balconies and porches. A $250.00 fee will be applied for the cleaning of a room if smoking occurs in the room or on the balcony.

Gift Certificates:

V Vacation Rentals gift certificates are available. Give this perfect gift for a wedding, event, or tranquil getaway.
